One of the highlights of Exhale Tulum is our visit to the Mayan Clay Spa & Bathhouse. Inspired by ancient Mayan wellness traditions, this immersive experience includes a full-body exfoliation, mineral-rich clay treatments, heat therapy, relaxation spaces, and time to reconnect with nature in a beautiful jungle setting.
Designed to leave you feeling refreshed, grounded, and renewed, it offers a unique blend of wellness, culture, and relaxation unlike a traditional spa experience.
Airfare, required travel medical insurance, optional in-villa massage services, optional Gran Cenote excursions, personal purchases, alcohol and expenses incurred before or after the official retreat dates are not included in the retreat price.
Absolutely. Exhale Tulum was intentionally designed to balance meaningful experiences with plenty of time to relax and enjoy the slower pace of retreat life.
Whether you choose to lounge by the pool, enjoy a massage, explore Tulum, read a book, connect with fellow guests, or simply do nothing at all, you’ll have ample free time throughout the weekend.
That’s perfectly okay. While we’ve thoughtfully curated a weekend of yoga, wellness, relaxation, and exploration, participation is always your choice.
Guests are encouraged to honor their own needs and energy levels throughout the retreat. Whether you join every activity or prefer extra time to rest and recharge, Exhale Tulum is designed to support your experience, not dictate it.
Most days begin with a morning yoga practice followed by breakfast and a blend of planned experiences, free time, and opportunities for relaxation. Afternoons may include wellness experiences, pool time, optional activities, or exploring Tulum, while evenings are reserved for shared meals and connection.
Exhale Tulum is intentionally limited to no more than 12 guests. Our private Villa sleeps 10. In the event the villa is completely full, additional guests will be accommodated in the Irie Main Resort. This smaller group size allows for a more personal experience, meaningful connections, individualized attention, and a relaxed atmosphere throughout the retreat.
Exhale Tulum was created for women who are craving rest as much as experience. While the weekend includes yoga, wellness experiences, and opportunities to explore Tulum, there is also plenty of space to slow down, relax, and simply enjoy being present. Our goal is for you to return home feeling refreshed, restored, and inspired, not exhausted.
Dietary preferences, allergies, and food sensitivities will be collected during the registration process and shared with our culinary team in advance of the retreat. While we will do our best to accommodate dietary needs, guests with severe allergies or medical dietary requirements are encouraged to contact us prior to booking.
Yes. Travel medical insurance is required for participation in Exhale Tulum. Guests are welcome to purchase additional travel insurance coverage for trip interruption, delays, cancellations, and other travel-related concerns based on their individual needs and preferences.
To help simplify the planning process, we’ve partnered with two trusted travel insurance providers that offer a variety of coverage options for international travel. While guests are welcome to purchase insurance through any provider that meets the retreat requirements, many travelers appreciate the convenience of comparing plans through our preferred partners:
Trawick International
A popular choice for international travelers, offering a variety of plans with options for trip cancellation, medical coverage, and emergency travel protection. Click here to explore Trawick options
Allianz Travel Insurance
One of the world’s most recognized travel insurance providers, offering comprehensive coverage options and a wide range of plan choices for domestic and international travel. Click here to explore Allianz options
We encourage all guests to review policy details carefully and select the coverage that best fits their individual travel needs.
We strongly encourage guests to fly into Tulum International Airport (TQO), located approximately 45 minutes from our retreat home.
Complimentary transfers for the scheduled flight on arrival and departure day:
DFW to TQO AA 3781 12:28 pm
TQO to DFW AA 3781 3:53pm
Guests may also choose to fly into Cancun International Airport (CUN), though transportation to and from the retreat home will be the guest’s responsibility.
Yes. A valid passport is required for travel to Mexico. We recommend verifying your passport expiration date well in advance of the retreat and ensuring it remains valid for at least six months beyond your travel dates.
Because retreat planning, accommodations, transportation, staffing, and reservations are secured well in advance, the initial $500 deposit is non-refundable under all circumstances.
Additional payments made beyond the initial deposit may be transferable or refundable only if the canceled space can be filled by another confirmed guest. While we will always make reasonable efforts to assist in filling canceled spaces whenever possible, replacement cannot be guaranteed.
For this reason, comprehensive travel insurance is recommended for all guests and should include coverage for cancellations, travel interruptions, delays, medical expenses, and emergency evacuation.
In the unlikely event Exhale Tulum must cancel or significantly modify the retreat due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, guests will be notified as soon as possible and any recoverable retreat payments will be addressed accordingly. Airfare, travel insurance, and other independently booked travel expenses remain the responsibility of the guest.
Once your registration is complete, you’ll receive a welcome email with important next steps, including links to our guest intake form, waiver, and retreat planning resources.
We’ll ask you to share information such as dietary preferences, travel plans, emergency contacts, and other details that help us create the best possible experience for you. Depending on individual needs and travel arrangements, we may also schedule a brief call to answer questions, review logistics, and ensure you’re fully prepared for the retreat.
After that, your primary responsibilities are simple: secure travel medical insurance, verify your passport is current, make your travel arrangements, and get ready to enjoy Exhale Tulum.
Filtered drinking water will be provided throughout the retreat. We recommend using filtered or bottled water for drinking and brushing teeth during your time in Tulum. Staying hydrated is especially important in Tulum’s warm tropical climate.
Each guest room includes a king-sized bed, private ensuite bathroom, air conditioning, private outdoor terrace, linens, towels, Wi-Fi access, and basic bathroom amenities. Filtered drinking water will also be available throughout the retreat.
Additional details and arrival information will be provided prior to departure to help ensure a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
We recommend bringing yoga attire, swimwear, lightweight resort wear, casual evening clothing, comfortable walking shoes or sandals, sunscreen, insect repellent, sunglasses, a hat, and any personal medications you may require. Additional packing suggestions will be provided prior to departure.
A non-refundable deposit of $500 is required to reserve your space. The remaining balance is due August 15, 2026.
Absolutely. Guests are welcome to arrive early or extend their time in Tulum before or after the retreat. Please note that accommodations, transportation, meals, and activities outside of the official retreat dates are the responsibility of the guest.
